As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
• Able to navigate deep water and use watercraft such as surfboards, paddleboards, and kayaks
• Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam, including an open water swim and treading water
• Preferred experience working with or teaching children
• Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
